Artists who can transcend mountains and seas to touch the hearts of audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds are reshaping the international image of rary Chinese culture with their talent and craftsmanship.
The master artist highlighted in this report is a distinguished representative of this wave of the times. Using his brush as a boat and ik as a sail, he forges ahead through the ocean of cultural fusion between the East and the West. 陈艺忠，1969年11月生，广东化州人，本科毕业，中共党员。中国楹联学会会员、中国交通书画协会会员、广东海员艺术家。
2021年被中国楹联学会书法艺术研究会聘为副秘书长。
2022年被中国楹联学会书画艺术院聘为副院长。
2023年被授予非物质文化遗产高层次艺术人才荣誉称号、被《中国军转民》杂志社聘为《中国军转民》文化艺术编辑委员会副秘书长、书法作品参加“艺术之巅看中国·大美中华”美国纽约时代广场海外展播、书法作品入选由中华文化书局出版的《大家风范》、《中华英才》杂志社刊发“是丰碑也是新的起点丨陈艺忠”专题、《华人日报》资讯刊发“中国艺术之星丨陈艺忠”专题。
2024年到北京故宫参加“龙行龘龘”新春送万福活动，书法作品亮相北京大兴国际机场展播，参加建国75周年“民族脊梁·时代楷模”高铁专列巡展，中国服务贸易协会国际交流工作委员会和宫廷文创共同出品《百年风华陈艺忠珍藏版台历》，中国楹联学会书画艺术院出版【艺坛新苑】(张继题写刊名)陈艺忠艺术专刊，参加挑战吉尼斯世界纪录称号“最大规模的彩绘瓷砖展示”活动，被CCTV时代强国栏目组授予“时代人物”称号。
2025年书法作品入编纪念全国人民代表大会成立70周年“翰墨丹青映丰碑”活动，书法作品入选《中华英才》半月刊社融媒体中心推荐在山西太原古县城风景区内嵌入瓷板，书法作品入选井冈山黄洋界风景区游客中心展示，书法作品参加献礼故宫博物院建院100周年活动，书法作品入编《荣宝斋》2025年第六期，书法作品入编中国文化出版社出版《丹青史鉴》中国艺术名家作品集萃，受邀到中国中文卫视演播厅参加2025名家专访并在新华社现场云平台播报。
2026年被聘为外交官俱乐部文化顾问并参加外交官迎春送福笔会，书法作品入编由中华人民共和国文化和旅游部主管发行大型艺术核心期刊2025年增刊。
Chen Yizhong, born in November 1969, is from Huazhou, Guangdong. He graduated with a bachelor's degree and is a member of the Communist Party of China. Member of the Chinese Couplet Association, Member of the Chinese Transportation Calligraphy and Painting Association, and Guangdong Seafarer Artist.
In 2021, he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the Calligraphy Art Research Association of the Chinese Couplet Association.
In 2022, he was appointed as the Vice President of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Institute of the Chinese Couplet Association.
In 2023, he was awarded the honorary title of high-level artistic talent for intangible cultural heritage, appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the Cultural and Art Editing Committee of "China Military to Civilian" magazine, and his calligraphy works participated in the overseas exhibition of "Looking at China at the Top of Art · Great Beauty China" in the New York Times. His calligraphy works were selected for the "Great Family Style" published by the China Culture Book Company, the "Chinese Talents" magazine published the special topic "Chen Yizhong is a Monument and a New Starting Point", and the "Chinese Art Star Chen Yizhong" was published in the news of "Chinese Daily".
In 2024, I went to the Forbidden City in Beijing to participate in the "Dragon Walk" New Year's Blessing Sending Event. My calligraphy works were showcased at Beijing Daxing International Airport, and I participated in the "National Backbone and Era Model" high-speed rail special exhibition for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The International Exchange Working Committee of the China Association for Trade in Services and the Palace Cultural and Creative jointly produced the "Centennial Charm Chen Yizhong Collected Edition Calendar". The Chinese Couplet Association Calligraphy and Painting Art Academy published the "Art New Garden" (with the title written by Zhang Ji) Chen Yizhong Art Special Issue. I participated in the challenge of the Guinness World Record for the "largest scale painted tile display" event and was awarded the title of "Person of the Times" by the CCTV Era Power Program Group.
In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the National People's Congress in 2025, calligraphy works will be included in the "Hanmo Danqing Yingfengbei" activity. Calligraphy works will be recommended by the semi monthly magazine "Chinese Talents" to be embedded in porcelain plates in the Guxian City Scenic Area in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Calligraphy works will be selected for display at the Huangyangjie Scenic Area Visitor Center in Jinggangshan. Calligraphy works will participate in the 100th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Palace Museum. Calligraphy works will be included in the sixth issue of "Rongbaozhai" in 2025. Calligraphy works will be included in the "Danqing Historical Mirror" published by China Culture Publishing House, a collection of works by Chinese art masters. Calligraphy works will be invited to participate in an exclusive interview with famous artists in 2025 at the studio of China Chinese TV and broadcasted on the live cloud platform of Xinhua News Agency.
In 2026, he was hired as a cultural advisor for the Diplomat Club and participated in the Diplomat Spring Festival and Blessing Pen Club. His calligraphy works were included in the 2025 supplement of a large-scale art core journal under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China.
