南海岩，1962年生，山东德州平原县人。1982年毕业于德州师专艺术系(现为：德州学院美术学院)。北京画院专业画家，北京市文艺人才百人工程成员，国家一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员。
其传略及作品入编《中国现代美术全集》《中国当代美术全集》《二十一世纪中国绘画精华录》等大型画集。作品《阳光璀璨》1999年获第九届全国美展铜奖，《净土》2003年获第二届中国画大展铜奖，《金谷》2004年获文化部全国画院双年展优秀作品最佳作品奖。《虔诚》入选百年中国画大展，并被中国美术馆收藏。2025年9月入选福布斯中国当代艺术名家榜。出版有《南海岩画集》《当代美术家精品集·南海岩》《南海岩重彩人物画集》《名家名画·南海岩彩墨人物》《百年中国画展名家精品·南海岩专辑》，《青山一隅--南海岩书法墨迹选》等十余部作品专集。
Nanhai Yan, born in 1962, is from Pingyuan County, Dezhou, Shandong Province. Graduated from the Art Department of Texas Teachers College in 1982 (now known as Texas College of Fine Arts). Professional painter of Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, member of the Beijing Hundred Talents Project, national first-class artist, and member of the China Artists Association.
His biographies and works have been included in such large-scale collections as Complete Works of Modern Chinese Art, Complete Works of Contemporary Chinese Art, and essence of Chinese Painting in the 21st Century. The work 'Radiant Sunshine' won the Bronze Award at the 9th National Art Exhibition in 1999, 'Pure Land' won the Bronze Award at the 2nd Chinese Painting Exhibition in 2003, and 'Golden Valley' won the Best Work Award at the National Academy of Painting Biennial Exhibition of the Ministry of Culture in 2004. The painting 'Devout' was selected for the Centennial Chinese Painting Exhibition and collected by the National Art Museum of China. Selected for the Forbes China Contemporary Art Masters List in September 2025. He has published more than ten collections of works, including "Nanhai Rock Painting Collection", "Contemporary Artists' Boutique Collection - Nanhai Rock", "Nanhai Rock Colorful Figure Painting Collection", "Famous Artists' Paintings - Nanhai Rock Colored Ink Figures", "Century old Chinese Painting Exhibition Famous Artists' Boutique - Nanhai Rock Album", "A Corner of Green Mountains - Selected Calligraphy Ink of Nanhai Rock", etc.
